Uploading QKView files to RedShield

When creating a support case, it is sometimes necessary to provide a QKView support snapshot file to RedShield for analysis. You will need an account on to complete this. 

1. Login to F5 Big IP as root user or any administrator with advanced shell access. 

2. Run the following commands on the Big IP (substitute <yourusername> and qkview_case# for the relevant values):


qkview -f /var/tmp/qkview_case#
sftp <yourusername>
put /var/tmp/qkview_case# /data/qkview_case#


3. Advise RedShield support that you have uploaded a new qkview file into your support directory.
